SONG SPOTLIGHT: AIRPLANES BY B.O.B. FEAT. HAYLEY WILLIAMS

There’s something about hip-hop on East Hill. The University has produced a number of shooting stars in the rap community, including The Source magazine publisher L. Londell McMillan, and New School hip-hop trio True2Life Music.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon resident loopminer Tim Sommers ‘10, aka One Love, and rhymesaying-alum Jeremy Dussolliett ’09 continue the Big Red’s tradition of musical prowess with their song-writing and melody contributions to B.o.B.’s epic “Airplanes.” The track is ill enough for Eminem to put in his two cents on a “Part II,” and Hayley Williams of Paramore belts out a chorus that could make poets cry. Relax and enjoy.
