Beantown – long home to a vibrant underground hip-hop scene – may finally have a mainstream face for hip-hop, thanks to Moufy who we caught up with at CollegeFest earlier in the month.

The young, fly and flashy Bostonian has quite a variety of styles – from lyrical contemplation to straight-up wrist-twerkin’, head bangin’ grind music – and a hunger to match. With more than 25,000 fans on his Facebook page, its clear the Web has already caught on to Moufy. It’s only a matter of time before major labels start knocking.

Check out Moufy put his city on his back in “Boston Lights,” and keep your eye out for more from this up-and-comer.
