On 11/11/11, in collaboration with Studio 54, Camelback Music, and All Things Adrenaline, Life Changing Apparel brought Kinetics & One Love back to their roots for a performance at Pixel Lounge in New York.

Four years after meeting in 2006 at Cornell, Jeremy “Kinetics” Dussolliet and Tim “One Love” Sommers signed a publishing deal with Warner Music Group as songwriters and made their commercial debut by penning the chorus to B.o.B.‘s platinum selling single “Airplanes.”

Accompanied by music producer Kenna Okoye, Kinetics & One Love made their way upstate for another stop on their East coast college tour.

Fresh off their performance at the Universiade Youth Festival, one of the five flagship events of the 2011 China-EU Year of Youth project, K&OL were nothing but high energy during their trip up to their alma mater. After a full day of traveling and photoshoot with LCA, K&OL still managed to pack and kill their show at Pixel.

The day after they dropped “This is Not Love Song,” their new song produced by DJ Big Red of Radical Something, the Grammy-nominated duo gave Pixel Lounge one of the craziest shows its every seen during their hour-long set.

With their provocative lyricism and distinctive, melodic instrumentals, the K&OL made sure to leave a mark on their old stomping ground before returning to New York to prepare for their next show at Connecticut College.

The night closed up with a massive house set from Greg Monte and lights by Seth Hoffman of Studio 54.
