In light of the fact that it was World Water Day 2012 yesterday, thought we’d share a report from the Capvva community in Haiti our team will be working closely with this summer.

At this moment, it’s raining outside and the situation in Capvva is really bad because water and mud have destroyed the tents which people live in. As their homes get flooded, it affects the children – most of them who are younger than 5 years old. Cholera is the biggest concert for the majority of the people at Capvva.

I am personally looking forward to see how we can help the people at Capvva together with LCA. Capvva community wants LCA to be the organization working alongside them to solve preventable problems and turn things around.

World Water Day 2012 may have already past but we’ll be making our social impact later this year. With your help, we’ll be able to provide the entire Capvva community with a source of uncontaminated water. By now, you know that each purchase made with LCA provides one child in need with clean water – the question is, how many children will you be saving?
